4 months later ....

I don't get a lot of time to keep up with by blog, but thought I would take a moment tonight to type up something. I go out and check out my daughter's blog pretty regular, but don't get time to make a lot of comments. I work a lot of long days and when I get home it's hard to make myself get on the computer.

My Mother came into town last week and I got to spend the day with her, Betty, Johnny, Richard & Gale on Saturday at the Hogansville, GA Hummingbird Festival. We had a really good day. She goes back to Michigan Nov 2 - but I go to Chicago on Oct 30-Nov 2. I know I will get to see her again before she leaves.

Well -- I have officially been 'grounded' by my podiatrist. I have been fitted for orthodics and my doc said they don't fit high heels! I'm only 5'4" and my heels gave me a little height, but now I guess I will just be short. I won't get into details about my foot issue, but looks like I will be wearing flats / sneakers from now on. I'll need to hem all my pants now!

There's nothing else I could type that anyone would be interested in as most of my days are spent here at The Coca-Cola Company.

Last, but not least, I can't wait till Valarie, Derrick and my grandkids come home!

Top Ten....

I really enjoyed reading your 10 things that "Jesus likes" about you.... It made me stop and think about myself - which is something I don't do very often. I thank God daily for the many blessings He has given to me but really haven't thought about the things about myself or that I do that pleases God. Here's my attempt.

Jesus likes:
1) That I love Him with all my heart.
2) That I love being a Mom - and love my two daughters more than anything.
3) That I love being a Grandma, and my hearts desire to see my Grandkids more.
4) That I love ALL my family unconditionally.
5) That I can laugh at myself.
6) That I am not afraid of working hard - whether at my job, or at my home.
7) That I am not a selfish person.
8) That I love sitting on my screened-in porch enjoying all the things in nature that God gave us to enjoy. It is so invigorating, yet so peaceful, to sit and listen to the birds sing and hearing the wind in the trees.
9) That I desire to be healthy.
10) That I have an optimistic heart and always look for the good in others.

Well I finally got around to signing up. Now I can comment the blogs that I have been reading. This is short & sweet -- like me :-)

My blogs won't be often since I work 10-12 hours a day . . . but will update when I can.
